The Lightest Cylinder on the Market
Gledhill have come a long way since the initial launch of our StainlessLite unvented hot water cylinders 40 years ago. Our continued dedication to innovation and development has resulted in the stronger, lighter and more efficient StainlessLite range of today, providing you with a wide range of unvented cylinders manufactured from high specification duplex stainless steel designed to resist all forms of corrosion, including crevice and stress. Ultimately, ‘the lightest cylinder on the market’ presents installers with an easy to manoeuvre option whilst matching competitors on performance and durability. With renewable options, space saving solutions and available in Pre-Plumbed options, the StainlessLite range is the answer to any application.
Gledhill are the only market leading UK manufacturer of hot water cylinders to use corrugated coil. Unlike competitors’ plain coil, which is smooth, Gledhill’s StainlessLite SuperCoil has multiple ridges across its length, meaning all of our stainless steel cylinders benefit from 20% more surface area, contributing to the lightweight of our flagship StainlessLite range.
Corrugated coil has also proven to provide faster reheat times than competitors’ plain coil, providing a more efficient performance and a reliable hot water cylinder. Our StainlessLite SuperCoil provides the perfect partner to today’s combi-boilers and the ideal heat exchanger for the future’s preferred low carbon energy.
StainlessLite Plus Horizontal
The answer to limited space and height restrictions, a horizontal cylinder can be tucked away in the loft making the best use of room and eliminating an eyesore within the property. Unlike any other horizontal cylinder’s manufactured by competitors, Gledhill’s StainlessLite Horizontal is the only domestic approved horizontal cylinder on the market, with a unique design to ensure heat transfer across the entire body of the cylinder using our StainlessLite SuperCoil.
Dedicated to making installers’ lives easier, our StainlessLite range boasts innovative components to save time and carry out maintenance with ease. The only cylinder on the market to have a lift up Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve, installers are able to drain our StainlessLite cylinders effortlessly when carrying out a repair or maintenance. Further to this, Gledhill’s StainlessLite cylinders are all fitted with a 90 degree elbow on the hot water draw off to reduce installation time.
Gledhill’s continued commitment to providing our customers with new and original features enables us to offer you advanced products and services to ensure your job is easier. We’re always looking to see what we can do differently to guarantee you a manufacturer you can look to for innovation, development, reliability, efficiency and a solution to any application.
