Regional Sales Manager – London & South East
Prior to joining Gledhill, Mike worked at Baxi for 15 years and Twyford Bathrooms for 10. Mike has extensive experience working with nationals merchants, independent merchants, main contractors and social housing, particularly in London.
Mike’s Fun Facts
Mike enjoys being active and likes a game of golf. He also likes to play cricket and used to be a member of his local team (he’s too old now!). Living in the south, Mike’s get’s to experience the nice weather in the summer, so a swim in the sea is a definite must.
Regional Sales Manager – Scotland, North East & NIRL
Martin joined the Gledhill team in 2017. Having worked with City Plumbing Supplies for 12 years and Pegler Yorkshire for 9, Martin holds a wealth of experience in working with independent and national merchants, contractors, specifiers and the social housing market.
Martin’s Fun Facts
A big family man, Martin spends his free time with his wife, daughters and his dog, Flo. Being 1 of 5, making plans with his siblings where he can is also a priority. He enjoys sports and music, with The Rain being one of his favourites and looks forward to visiting the North of Scotland for holiday breaks.
Regional Sales Manager – South Central
Beginning his career in the 1990’s working with independent merchants in London and the South East, Jamie joined Gledhill with over 25 years’ experience in the plumbing and heating industry, as well as previous roles in commodity training and BCG Distribution.
Jamie’s Fun Facts
Since 1979 Jamie has been a drummer in his band and was signed to IRS Record Label in the 80’s with the band Chelsea, whereby he got to play alongside Joe Strummer and Topper Headon from The Clash! He still plays today and has since recorded 5 new tracks with his current band. Jamie has a big passion for Vinyl records, Music, Chelsea FC, Baseball and… talking!
Regional Sales Manager – South West
Moving over to Gledhill from our sister company Ideal Boilers, Janet brings her knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry to the team, following experience working with installers, merchants and contractors located across the UK.
Janet’s Fun Facts
Janet enjoys exploring beautiful places across the nation and living the country life with her family. She loves to visit local national trust areas with her energetic Labrador, Visla, whilst also carrying out her wish list of jetting to new destinations across the globe. She’s also a shopaholic and has a bad habit of collecting shoes and handbags!
Regional Sales Manager – East Midlands & Eastern
Carrying nearly 20 years’ sales experience within the plumbing and heating industry, Stuart has worked with Uponor, Myson and Polypipe building relationships with national and independent merchants, whilst also working with contractors and multinational companies in both domestic and commercial sectors.
Stuart’s Fun Facts
Stuart is an avid lover of sports, particularly Liverpool FC and golf which he’s not very good at! He’s much better at darts where he plays for his local pub and has on a few occasions come up against former world champion Martin ‘Wolfie’ Adams. He actually beat him once!
Regional Sales Manager – West Midlands & South Wales
Previously a business owner within the renewable industry, whereby he won an award for young entrepreneur of the year, Steven possesses a deep knowledge of renewable energy within the plumbing and heating industry. Paired with experience working with Vokera Boilers and Telford cylinders, Steven carries experience in working with installers and merchants across the UK.
Steve’s Fun Facts
Steve likes to go caravanning with his family and take the odd holiday abroad. He enjoys playing golf (he’s better than Stuart) and likes to keep busy with DIY. Keen to learn new things, Steve’s looking to get back into fishing this year but if he takes his crazy cocker Spaniel, Louie, I doubt he’ll get a catch!
Regional Sales Manager – North
Anne-Marie began her career at Gledhill upon leaving school. Being around cylinders from a young age, Anne-Marie was exposed to many areas of the business eventually taking up the position of Marketing Manager. She then developed her career in sales, covering OEM and national sales until becoming our Regional Sales Manager for the North. With extensive experience within Gledhill, from innovation to production, Anne-Marie holds an unrivalled knowledge on all Gledhill products and services.
UK Sales Director
I myself, Neil, have worked with merchant groups, large contractors, installers and major retail chains across the UK, mainland Europe and beyond. Previously the Commercial Director for Kingspan, I’ve managed key customer relationships across all sectors within the plumbing and heating industry.
I try to keep fit by exploring exciting places by bike with my wife, Ruth (most recently in Swaziland), & until recently when my knees gave up the ghost, represented my county at squash. Most of the rest of my spare time is spent keeping my 4 grandchildren happy!

As of the 24th January 2022 Neil Thompson is appointed as the Sales Director takes over the role from Neil Overton who spent four years with the company and will remain in the business into 2022 to support the transition.
