Gledhill Announces New Appointments For Top Management Team

Gledhill Water Storage has announced major additions to its management structure to enhance customer service and drive forward the business as the UK’s leading innovator in domestic heating and hot water systems. Lynne Porter has been appointed as commercial director for Gledhill Water Storage. Joining from the highly-stringent automotive industry, Lynne is tasked with overseeing production and purchasing and the quality assurance aspects of Gledhill, setting the standard for the domestic heating and hot water industry in the UK.

Burnley-based Lynne was formerly a Quality Director for Methode Electronics, an automotive electronics firm based in Scotland. Lynne studied Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Business Management at the University of Preston.

Jason Hobson joins Gledhill as Sales Director with responsibility for generating all sales, focusing on new business for the company and co-ordinating the activities of Gledhill’s Key Account Directors. For the past 5 years, Jason has been working within subsidiaries of Masco Plc – a multi billion dollar company focussed on home improvements.

More recently, Jason has been responsible for bathroom furniture sales within Moores Furniture Group across all markets including new house build.

Originally from Sheffield, Jason studied Electromechanical Power Engineering and Ergonomics at the University of Loughborough.

Gledhill products are now specified in almost 1 in 3 new homes built in the UK, and the latest appointments reflect the determination by the group to maintain that position.
