Gledhill leads the UK in the development of appliances designed to deliver domestic heating and hot water while using renewable and alternative energy sources, and sponsored the awards as part of its drive to raise awareness of sustainability issues within the new homes sector.

This latest award for Urban Splash was presented for its MoHo development at Castlefield in Manchester, the first development of modular housing built for private sale in the UK. Designed by Liverpool architects Shedkm, MoHo features 102 one and two bedroom apartments built off site in carefully controlled conditions. They arrive on site fully tested and ready to be craned into position and attached to the steel framed skeleton of the six storey building.
