Mains Pressure & Thermal Storage
The pioneering Gledhill development that harnesses the benefits of mains pressure hot water
And the advantages of Gledhill thermal storage systems go much further:

- With combined units available which include an integral boiler, it is   possible to take the boiler out of the kitchen and into the airing   cupboard.

- Our thermal storage units are factory fitted appliances, with all the   necessary pipework and electrics set at the front of the unit. This   significantly reduces labour time on-site and helps to reduce   installation costs.

- Controls are simplified as hot water programming is no longer   necessary.

- Thermal storage systems contain less than 15 litres of secondary   water and therefore do not need to comply with G3. The installer   need not be registered, giving greater flexibility.

- Thermal storage systems can accept heat from multiple heat   sources, eg gas or solid fuel boilers.

The Benefits Are Clear :
- Ultra high performance providing instantaneous hot water and   heating and thus reducing wastage

- 'Power shower' pressures for every shower in the home

- The capability to provide high simultaneous demands, to serve   different locations at the same time

- No cisterns or pipes in the loft, so no need to worry about freezing   pipes in the winter

- Quality, potable water at every tap

There Is No Requirement For:
- Motorised valve and boiler bypass

- Pressure or temperature safety relief valves

- Separate external feed cistern for domestic hot water

- Shower pump - thanks to excellent hot water performance from the   mains
It Makes Possible The Use Of:
- A smaller boiler

- Smaller diameter hot and cold water supply pipes

- Thermostatic mixer taps
