Innovation is the primary driver behind our
continued growth and almost 1 in 3 new homes in the UK are now equipped with
a Gledhill product for heating or hot water.
The
industry's only emergency support system that ensures continuity of supply,
including the central heating, in the event of boiler problems, SWITCH is the
fastest selling product innovation we have ever introduced and is now fitted
as standard on all A-Class appliances.
We
believe our responsibility to the customer begins, not ends, with the sale of
a product. This commitment to after sales care is our assurance that you will
receive high quality products and services. Our name is our Guarantee. We believe
it is one of the best in the industry.
We
have a highly skilled team based at our Blackpool head office who are there
to help with any technical queries you may have about our products. They are
all able to provide comprehensive technical support on the full range of Gledhill
products.
Gledhill
is at the forefront of the development of products that maximise the efficiency
of renewable and alternative energies.
Based on the company’s proven BoilerMate A-Class products, there are three
variances for alternative and renewable energy use: BoilerMate mCHP for micro
Combined Heat & Power, BoilerMate SOL for use with solar energy sources,
and BoilerMate HP for use with heat pumps.
As
additional support for our appliance products, we have a team of field-based
Area Technical Support Managers - their initial involvement is usually to provide
training to the installer in order to ensure that the installation is conducted
quickly and correctly. Subsequently, the Support Managers are available to provide
site assistance on more difficult issues that cannot be resolved by the installer
operating within the Benchmark code of practice.
We
can offer an in-house

design service if certain qualifying criteria are met. In these instances, a
detailed specification is provided for the hot water and space heating systems
on particular projects.
Design, installation and servicing manuals are readily available for all Gledhill
thermal storage units on request and via our website.

Every
Gledhill appliance is covered by our GOLD service standard. The Gledhill Organisation
Linked Database, backed by our established Key Partner Charter, provides what
we believe to be the highest level of back-up and the strongest field support
in the industry per unit installed.

GOLD can be used to track every Gledhill appliance installed through a unique
product code. Our engineer, on entering the product code into his laptop computer,
will immediately see the date of manufacture, the installer, the developer who
built the home and its location plus a full service history from commissioning.
The GOLD service standard plays a key role in ensuring that our Key Partner
installers and specifiers get the best possible on-site support. It is also
used to assist with training or troubleshooting and supports the HHIC Benchmark
Code of Practice.

We
give our full support to the Benchmark scheme - the Code of Practice for the
installation and commissioning of central heating systems. Benchmark is designed
to raise standards by placing responsibilities on both manufacturers and installers
to ensure that consumers are provided with the correct equipment for their needs
and that it is installed and commissioned in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions by competent persons. The objective is to improve the professionalism
of the industry and raise levels of customer satisfaction.
Each
combines the essential benefits of Primary Storage with highly intelligent,
dedicated control programmes enabling the Gledhill appliance to become the heart
and brains of the complete alternative energy system.
