Accolade A-Class
A plumbed and wired unvented cylinder
Accolade A-Class With Front Exposed Tried and tested for nearly 20 years in the market place.

The Accolade A-Class is the latest evolution of Britian's first ever mains-pressure unvented cylinder, which was introduced by Gledhill in 1987.

Up to twice as much hot water per hour than other unvented cylinders.

Sufficient to fill a bath in under 4 minutes an Accolade A-Class is eminently suitable for multi-bathroom properties. A powerful shower can also be used without the need for expensive pumps.

All the necessary components for the system plumbed and wired internally

Accolade A-Class is a true appliance. With all its system components concealed behind a beautifully engineered outer case, it consigns cupboard pipework to the history books and turns installation time into minutes.

'peace of mind' for the installer, developer and homeowner comes as standard in the event of boiler failure.

Accolade A-Class is the first unvented cylinder to offer INSTANT response to a boiler failure through Gledhill’s unique SWITCH emergency heating and hot water back-up system, meaning that emergency call-outs are cut dramatically.

Accolade has been tested by KIWA, a member of the European Organisation for Technical Approvals (EOTA) and found to comply with Water Regulations. In performance, it complies with the requirements of BS6700 and meets the NHBC criteria for domestic properties. Gledhil lWater Storage Ltd also operates a quality management system audited and accepted by the BSI in accordance BS EN ISO 9001:2000.

Resistance to Scale
The Domestic Heating Compliance Guide published in May 2006 requires a water treatment device to be fitted where the hardness is greater than 200ppm. This is a requirement for both combis and storage vessels to comply with Building Regulations L1A and L1B. The Gledhill
in-line scale inhibitor CAN BE SPECIFIED AT TIME OF ORDER for a very modest cost. This is fitted within the case and therefore does not require the provision of a fused spur in the cupboard.
